Activity Introduction
This demonstration project is a collaborative effort between the Energy and Mines Department of Laos, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and Hengs Technology. The project aims to assist the Energy and Mines Department of Laos (IREP) in establishing a solar energy storage demonstration system for a primary school in Nong Khiao village of Long Thanh Province.
The project utilizes a Taiwan-made mobile energy storage system by using Hengs’ new product: the Portable Energy Storage System ESS 3000. The demonstration system provides lighting for the local students' classroom and semi-outdoor space, offering high mobility, easy installation, and effective extended the use time of indoor space during rainy days and nights. The Education Bureau of Nong Khiao District in Long Thanh Province of Laos has presented a letter of appreciation to Hengs Technology. Currently, there are Laotian businesses inquiring about becoming the agents for the product.
